- Legal Research: Investigate and stay updated on national and European legislation relevant to our members, covering various topics such as insurance, distribution, ESG, pensions, AML, and more.
- Advisory and Advocacy: Analyze regulatory requirements, communicate insights, and recommend strategic responses to protect our members’ interests.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop advocacy materials, represent BVVM-UPCA’s positions with institutional stakeholders, and foster positive relationships with decision-makers.
- Internal Support: Prepare reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external stakeholders; assist with BVVM-UPCA’s internal legal obligations.
- Experience: 2-5 years in a legal role, ideally within insurance or ESG.
- Language Skills: Dutch, French, English.
- Advocacy and Communication: Strong advocacy skills with an ability to produce professional, high-quality legal content.
- Attention to Detail: Sharp focus on accuracy and thoroughness in legal research and documentation.
- Insight into Policy: Knowledge of public decision-making processes is a plus.
- Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a diverse and evolving environment.
